FIFI recently facilitated an exclusive high-level engagement at The Oberoi, New Delhi, held on February 18, 2026, bridging the gap between global policy and Indian market expertise. FIFI was honored to host a distinguished delegation from Spain, led by H.E. Mr. Luis Planas Puchades, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and Mr. Fernando Heredia, Deputy Director General for International Relations and the EU. This session served as a sophisticated platform for FIFI members to engage directly with the architects of spanish trade, fostering a deeper understanding of the evolving bilateral landscape.
The dialogue centered on the transformative potential of the EU-India Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and the strategic expansion of Spanish "Star Products" within the Indian subcontinent.
