FIFI was pleased to participate in the UK India Business Council’s (UKIBC) exclusive session, "Trade, Taste & Transformation" held at The Imperial, New Delhi on February 24, 2026. This distinguished gathering served as a vital junction for the food and beverage fraternity to explore the unexplored frontiers of the UK-India agrifood corridor. Our Founder Director, Mr. Amit Lohani, joined an esteemed panel featuring Ms. Jaya Choraria, Deputy HM Trade Commissioner for South Asia, and Mr. Tavish Scott, CEO of Salmon Scotland Limited. Moderated by Mr. Richard Heald, Group Chair-UKIBC the dialogue delved into the intricacies of evolving consumer preferences, the rise of health-centric premium segments, and the necessity of building resilient, high-performance supply chains between our two nations.
Beyond the strategic discourse, the evening celebrated the profound cultural resonance that food fosters between global partners. As we sampled exceptional culinary creations prepared by Executive Chef Michael Andreas Gremer, the emphasis remained on the "real connections" that define our sector—from the introduction of heritage UK products to the Indian palate to the global appreciation of Indian spirits.
