In continuation with 2009 and 2010, FIFI participated in FInefood India 2011 as Associate Sponsors. FIFI coordinated an interaction amongst key Indian importers along with SCS Group (Sumit Saran) and Marche Retail (Mini Yadav). Panelist discussed Emerging Business Trends in Innovative Product Categories in Imported Foods.
FIFI also hosted Mr. S.S.Ghonkrokta, IAS & Director Enforcement, FSSAI for a presentation on newly announced FBO-Food Business Operators’ Registration with FSSAI. Session had huge attendance from importers, retailers and trade bodies, who thanked FIFI for providing such platform.
